Check
out the team's latest Haunt Hunts! Many investigators believe
"orbs" in photography to be either a sign of energy
of spirit life. Though somtimes orbs can be the result of
dust or insects, it's uncanny how often our team Clairvoyant
and Sensitive pick up on a conscious presence invisible to
the naked eye, and upon firing off the cameras, it's almost
always a shoe-in for some fantastic orb photography. As such,
The Haunted Playground team believes orbs to be conscious
spirit life.
These
photos will get you started -- check back as we process more
photos from ghosts hunts in such places as New York City and
the Titanic Graveyard in Halifax, Canada!

Special thanks to PSP investogator Patty Valdez, who took
so many amazing photos that many are still being reviewed
by the Haunted Playground team! But we chose just a few of
the best to get you started!
The
Roosevelt Hotel, Hollywood
"Marilyn's Mirror"
View a larger photo
It
is said to have been Marilyn Monroe's favorite mirror
during her stays at The Roosevelt Hotel. Tammy was
drawn to this area, the mirror in particular. Upon
studying the mirror, Tammy felt a "draft"
coming from the bottom portions of the glass, and
indicated it was a portal. Danielle confirmed the
portal, and clocked a small being "inside"
the lower portion of the mirror that she was only
able to describe as a "small troll" or an
"angry baby-looking creature with a bald head,
a little under two feet tall".
Tammy snapped the photo -- notice four orbs, but most
stunningly, check out the small blue mystery figure
in the bottom section of the mirror!

Here's
a better look at the strange "troll like"
spectre caught in the mirror.
Tammy
researched Marilyn Monroe, and found that she had a
small dog. So far, the team is stumped as to what this
entity may be. Tammy believes it to be a dog, and Danielle
still feels it to be some sort of netherworld creature.
Whatever it is, it's a terrific piece of paranormal
photography.

She snapped this photo, in which is a fine specimen
of 5 separate orbs, all grouped around the light fixture.

The
team decided to kick off their Hollywood ghost hunt
with a classic dinner at Musso and Franks, a Hollywood
institution known for it's many years of celebrity
clientele dating back to Hollywood's golden age. Tammy
wanted to sit in this booth in particular, as it was
the booth frequented by restaurant regular Charlie
Chaplin. It turns out Charlie was making an appearance
that night, as both Tammy and danielle detected a
presence in the booth. Read about Tammy's
experiences in Musso and Franks.

Danielle!

What
do you think? Could Tammy and Danielle's visitor be
Charlie Chaplin himself, smiling for the camera? Look
closely, you'll see a "smiley face" in the
orb configuration.

"Inner
Complex Ectoplasm"

In
this photo, Patty captured an extraordinary spirit
in the form of ectoplasm shaped like a person, standing
in what would have been inside the mental facility,
pre-demolition.

Ectoplasm
close-ups
|
|
After much scrutinization of the photo, the Haunted
Playground Team feels this to be an ectoplasmic spirit
form mirroring the anatomy of a human being. It is difficult
to capture Ectoplasmic forms on film that are this developed
into what appears to be a cognitive shape, rather than
the more common "random cloud" effect. However,
this spirit must have been rather attached to it's human
form!
|
Note how this ectoplasmic form resembles a "head"
, "arm" and "legs". Our investigative team
pumped up the contrast in the same photo (see below) so that
the ectoplasmic "head and arm" was even easier to
identify against the grey backing.

The
Fort Steilacoom Patient Cemetery at Western State
Hospital was a burial site for not only patients of
Hill Ward, but also famous politicians of the day,
such as William Henson Wallace (1811-1879), who among
many postings, was Governor of the Washington Territory.
The amount of obs in this photo is amazing, especially
when you consider the layer upon layer of spirit life
involved. This is a very busy grave area, which is
not common, but more indicative of spirit life that
is not at rest. Perhaps many of the orbs above belong
to the countless unclaimed mental patients left in
the ground, still waiting for the recognition of their
personhood.

A
bright orb in the right side of the photo. The following
photo was taken directly afterwards and the same orb
is in a different position, while the ectoplasm is
gone! One of the many arguments that arise against
photographing ectoplasm is that the actual phenomenon
is nothing more than "fog" . But fog cannot
move out of a picture frame in less than one second,
unless there are gale force winds, which are not evident
by the looks of the vegetation.

veiwing of orbs and phenomenon.

You'll
take note that this photo was taken directly after the
"ectoplasm" photo, and in this photo, no ectoplasm
is present, although the bright blue orb in the upper
right seems to have moved away from the camera, while
the bright orb at the top appears to have moved closer.
The Haunted Playground team enjoys these types of photos,
as it assist in studying the "movement" rate
of energetic and spiritual phenomenon. The two photos
side by side give the viewer more perspective on the
movement of these objects. |

More
orb clors-ups, starting with the two biggest stars of
the photo, the large orb upper center, and the bright
blue orb in the upper right. |
More orb migration.

contrast and brightness adjusted to maximize the viewing
of orb layering in the same photo.

And
what exactly is this ghostly apparition of a head
or skull in the foreground, looking over it's shoulder
at the camera? Is this what become of the ectoplasmic
mass in the previous photo? Whatever it is, this is
what nightmares are made of! No adjustments were made
to the close-up below.

"Field"

View

Often
times in paranormal investigation, looks are deceiving, which
is why it is vitally important to thoroughly examine every
piece of evidence for not only phenomenon that may need to
be de-bunked -- but legitimate paranormal items that were
caught on camera but were not readily visible to the examining
eye.
This
photo taken by PS Paranormal is an excellent example of what
may look like a "dud" photograph, but is full of
content. Upon first glance, it looks like a black outdoor
field with a flash blast upon the dirt up front. Haunted Playground
member Danielle Egnew was examining this photo, and "felt"
something in the picture that wasn't readily viewable.
Adjusting
the contrast and the brightness to lose unnecessary dark pigment
in the picture, this is what appeared:
View
larger photo
What
appeared to be nothing more than a flash blast in the lower
left hand corner is clearly an ectoplasmic mass, arching upwards.
And what of the ghostly gables, hovering in the darkness?
The
paranormal phenomenon of ghost buildings and ghost ships are
as much part of spirit lore as ghosts themselves. This land
was used as a farm in the 1930's and 1940's, and on the property
were large barn structures with traditional gabled farm architecture.
If
the "gables" are nothing more than power or phone
lines caught in the background, then where are the large poles
holding up the structures?
Also
in the photo appeared two bright red lights. The Team cross
checked the other photos that were taken in succession with
this one, and noticed that the same red bright lights, mostly
in groups of six, appeared in the entire sequence, but in
different horizontal and vertical positions. It is important
to rule out the source of the lights, such as background bleed
from tail lights on a far-away vehicle. But unless Washington
State has developed flying cars, then we have some fascinating
paranormal activity caught on film by PSParanormal!

"Wall"

We
found this photo particularly interesting because of the symmetry
in which the orbs are flowing over the wall. They resemble
aquarium bubbles, one after another, ebbing up in a stream.
Perhaps there was a staircase in this particular area of the
original Hill Ward dormitory?
Same
photo below but with augmented contrast and brightness for
easier viewing of orb layering.
