Talk Radio Icon Sheena Metal and Psychic / Director Danielle Egnew co-host new Paranormal radio show on
LA Talk Radio |
January 2010 - Starting February 2nd, Sheena Metal and Danielle Egnew will team up to bring their edgy and educated take on the paranormal straight to the airwaves on LA Talk Radio with their pararnomal radio show, "Haunted Playground".
Egnew, who recently wrote, directed and starred in the feature-length paranormal documentary Montgomery House: The Perfect Haunting, now available on DVD, bring years of experience in the paranormal field, not only as a renowned Clairvoyant and Medium, but having co-founded The Western Pacific Paranormal Alliance (WPPA) along with Metal and Tammy and Paul Mehlhaff, of Billings, MT. Metal, who co-executive produced the feature film along with Egnew, also has years of paranormal investigative experience, with both WPPA and other groups as an investogator and historian.
Sheena Metal's hit daily talk show, The Sheena Metal Experience on LATalk Radio, has drawn such paranormal guests as Ghost Lab's Klinge Brothers and Ghost Hunter's International's Barry Fitzgerald. Danielle Egnew has occupied the most guest appearances to date on The Sheena Metal Experience as "The Resident Psychic". With such a guest roster, including WPPA's Sensitive Tammy Mehlhalff, along and an increased interest in her listeners regarding the paranormal, Metal approached Egnew about co-hosting a weekly paranormal show.
Haunted Playground has been the home-base website for The Western Pacific Paranormal Alliance since 2006, posting informative pages regarding paranormal investigative equipment to investigation photos and more. "I always thought that Haunted Playground would be the name of a show," comments Egnew. "I guess I was right."
Haunted Playground will begin airing weekly, every Tuesday, on LA Talk Radio starting February 2nd, from 3-5pm PST. Listeners can log on and listen to the show streamed live by going to www.LATalkRadio.com and clicking the "number 2" icon on the front page. Listeners can also call into the studio live to talk to Sheena, Danielle and their guests, by dialing 1- 818-602-4929.

Welcome
to the official home of the Western Pacific Paranormal
Alliance - The Haunted Playground! |
June 2006 - We're
happy to be launched, between Danielle's entertainment schedule,
Jenny's writing deadlines, Paul's production roster and Tammy's
Tae Kwon Do, but here we are, ready to share our findings
with all of you!
The
Western Pacific Paranormal Alliance approaches the exploration
and research of the paranormal from the platform of accepting
that paranormal activity is "normal" within the
spiritual scheme of the universe. Our goal is to critically
examine data accrued during investigations and present this
data to the general public, as well as other paranormal enthusiasts,
in an educational and exciting way.
We
feel that this presentation involves video, audio, and still
photography. You may notice that on The Haunted Playground
site, you'll find not only the original raw media taken at
a location for your review, but what we like to call the "working
models" as well. "Working models" are a term
we've given to media that we have applied a third party "clean
up" to in an attempt to extract more accurate information
from the source material, which is often shot in low light
or recorded in poor environments or on poor equipment. Working
models are what you see and hear on most paranormal sites,
like EVP's that have been filtered properly, photos that have
been contrasted to maximize content, video that has been properly
color corrected to view phenomenon, etc. We simply include
the original source as well, no matter how raw or strange.
We've
found that it is an important piece in the investigative step
to lay all the evidential data into a viewable, "working
file" so that other researches and enthusiasts may apply
their own interpretation onto the target piece by following
along with our "de-bunking" steps.
As
paranormal investigators, we want to make sure we can adequately
exchange experiences and information with you, so in addition
to this website, we'd love for you to visit our
Blogs, where you'll hear in depth accounts of from Tammy,
Danielle, Jenny and Paul about all of their investigations,
from the outback ghost towns of Haunted Montana to the shining
lights of Hollywood Boulevard.
Or,
post your own experiences on our Forums,
and get to know other investigators in your area!
Keep
your eye on this news page where we'll be posting our next
appearances, investigations, and more!
Be
safe, be thorough, and Happy Hunting!
Danielle,
Tammy, Paul and Jenny
